We Are Looking For:
Landscape Maintenance Crew Members / Crew Leadership:
Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the landscaping trades
Firm knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, pests, weeds – natives and non-natives.
A clear understanding of organic principles of land care, maintenance, and planting.
Detail-orientated approach to work and completing jobs.
Practicing professional pruning methods.
Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly; up to 60 lbs safely when needed
Must adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (we will provide)
Have reliable transportation to and from work/job site
Safe operation of basic landscaper's tools (pruners, loopers), small power tools (blowers, chainsaw/drills/recip saw), basic garden tools, and tool use and upkeep.
Current PA driver's license. Ability to drive pick-up trucks.
This position is outdoors, and the weather affects the conditions – long, hot days, wet rainy days, and cold temperatures. You are expected to work unless otherwise noted by manager.
Job Duties:
The Core Landscape Maintenance Crew will:
Work in the field completing landscape activities in a timely manner: planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals; weeding, pruning, mulching, digging, fertilizing, excavating, grading, and tamping.
Hardscaping work TBD based on experience.
Compensation:
$18 - $25 per hour/crew members depending on experience/bonus pay when applicable
25 - 30 hours per week
Working Saturdays when needed
