A three-step process to beautify your space

Step 1:

GETTING STARTED: listening + learning

• Our process begins with a CONSULTATION. Owner Suzanne Pace will visit your home or site for an initial walk-through and analysis of your existing conditions. This is a time to listen to your goals, ideas, and needs. (typically 60 minutes)

• You will then receive a DESIGN ESTIMATE reflecting the amount of time and resources we will need to create a custom plan for your property. Once you approve that estimate, we get to work on creating your custom plan.

Step 2:

CREATING YOUR CUSTOM PLAN: researching + designing

Designing your custom plan can take anywhere from two to three weeks, depending on the size of the property and budget. Once completed, we will share your completed Stone|Grow plan, which will have three core components:

  • A scale rendering of your CUSTOM DESIGN*, with details

  • Full-color PRECEDENT PAGES containing a collection of proposed plants (descriptions / Latin names); hardscaping details such as a materials guide for natural stone, wood, or any metals; and details related to lighting, irrigation, and any furniture when applicable.

  • A custom MAINTENANCE HANDBOOK detailing how to tend to your property

Step 3:

DOING THE WORK: installing + building

After the design presentation and final approval of your custom plan, we will coordinate and manage the successful installation of your project. This includes:

  • Finalizing an INSTALL COST ESTIMATE and budget

  • MATERIALS SOURCING for all job items such as stone, plants, or other materials

  • Scheduling the start date and PROJECT MANAGEMENT WORK CALENDAR for your project

*If construction details are required, or 3D modeling is needed (for slope reconciliation) or required, additional design fees may apply.
